The fragrance evokes an autumnal Western landscape with coniferous facets of pine, cypress, balsam fir needle, and black hemlock over resinous copaiba and amber. Hay, grass, and soil add dry, earthy nuances, while tobacco, leather, and castoreum provide a darker undertone. Cedar, sandalwood, and two kinds of vetiver ground the structure, with rosemary adding a subtle aromatic lift.
