This perfume dedicated to Napoleon’s triumph or Triomphe Francois Rance has been introduced in 2009 and reformulated in 2015. A celebration of good chances, Triomphe like the poem hidden inside its box is a Perfume which shows “the expansion of infinite things”.The Fragrance’s new soul opens with a dynamic wave of bergamot, bitter orange and green tangerine, warmed by the spicy touch of cardamom. In the heart, an intense mélange of cinnamon, clary sage and the unusual tarragon. At the base, the resinous incense and the Cordova leather add an oriental and woody taste. Vetiver, guaiac wood and patchouli join the sweetness of black amber, while a final, soft touch of elegance is given by benzoin drops. Triomphe features Millesimé notes: like in fine wines and liqueurs, these are the extracts obtained from the best years of production.Before reformulation Triomphe opened with citrusy aromas (bergamot), neroli and black pepper, adding central notes of iris from Florentine and incense, while base notes were pulsing triumphally with woody accords of sandalwood, cedar and vetiver with musk. Perfume Triomphe is available in a very sophisticated, tall flacon made of glass, all decorations with name of the brand and perfume (motifs characteristic of the house of Rance 1795) are engraved on glass. Golden details and neck of the bottle contribute to creator’s luxurious expression.
